Suspects Brandish Gun During Attempted Elk Grove Burglary, Elude Capture

Two suspects, one of whom brandished a handgun during an attempted nighttime burglary in Elk Grove eluded apprehension following an extensive search.

On Saturday, April 1 at approximately 9:45 p.m. two unknown suspects were attempting to burglarize storage units at the Life Storage facility on the 8700 block of Calvine Road in Elk Grove. When one of the suspects was confronted by the store manager, one of them brandished a gun, then both fled on foot.

Elk Grove Police established a perimeter and other law enforcement resources were deployed to locate the suspects.  After an extensive search, the suspects were not located.
