As part of its plans to cut service on several of its eTran bus routes, the City of Elk Grove is seeking public comment.

The planned service cuts were approved by the Elk Grove City Council in April as part of a comprehensive transit analysis that realigned e-tran routes. Proposed route schedules have been developed for both local and commuter service for final review.

Feedback on the proposed route schedules will allow transit staff to provide the best possible service within their current financial constraints. Residents are encouraged to log on to City’s Open City Hall discussion forum to review the proposed routes and individual schedules and provide feedback.

Route numbers have changed and separate surveys have been developed for Local and Commuter routes. Residents can comment on specific route schedules now through July 5.

City staff will also be available for one-on-one conference calls or in-person meetings. These can be scheduled by contacting Elk Grove Transit Staff at  916.627.3131
or TransitFeedback@elkgrovecity.org.
