Elk Grove Police Investigating Elk Grove Blvd. Shooting, Murder

A shooting that has left one person dead and another wounded tonight is under investigation by Elk Grove Police.

According to information posted on the Elk Grove Police Department's Twitter account, police officers responded to the 7500 block of Elk Grove Boulevard where officers found a male victim deceased. Another shooting victim appeared at an area hospital that is believed to have been involved in the shooting.

Preliminary information released suggests that a blue four-door sedan is believed to have been involved in the incident. The department's public information officer is on the scene and more updates are expected.
