Guest at Elk Grove Hotel Mugged, Robbed as He Enters Room

A guest at an Elk Grove hotel was mugged and robbed as he entered his room.

Shortly after 11 p.m. the hotel guest was entering his room at the Extended Stay hotel on Longport Court on the city's west side when he was approached from behind by two unknown suspects. The suspects assaulted the victim and then took unspecified personal property.

The victim sustained injuries from broken glass on the ground. The suspect, who were described as Hispanic male adults, fled in an unknown direction with the victim's property.
