After a bone-dry February, the month of close out with some wild weather today in Sacramento.
Along with reports of funnel clouds reported north of Sacramento, a thunderstorm roared into town early this afternoon. From about 2 to 2:45 p.m. pea-sized hail accompanied the thunder and lightning.
The result was a snow-like covering of hail in parts of Sacramento, While meteorologist will not call it snow, anytime you can make a snowball, well that is close enough for us to call it snow!
