Suspect Who Was on Bail Arrested For Alleged Shoplifting by Elk Grove PD

A Sacramento woman who was on bail was arrested by Elk Grove Police on suspicion of shoplifting.

Just before 11 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27 Elk Grove Police were dispatched to the Toy R Us store on Bond Road regarding a possible shoplifting incident. On arrival officer located a vehicle matching the description provided.

Selena Campbell, 39, was contacted and a record check revealed she had been released on bail for a different charge. A probable search allegedly led to the discovery of the stolen merchandise.

Campbell was arrested booked into the county jail and was released on bail later in the day.
