Three Pot Houses Raided by Elk Grove Police, Three Suspects in Custody

As part of their ongoing operations to eradicate illegal residential marijuana growing operations in the community, the Elk Grove Police Street Crimes Units served three search warrants on suspected grow houses yesterday.

At 7 a.m. search warrants were executed on three locations - the 6200 block of Jeflen Way; 9200 block of Fife Ranch Way; and the 6800 block of DiLusso Drive. Detectives seized over 1,000 plants and 31 pounds of processed marijuana.

Three suspects, Li Zhu, 60, Fuling Zeng, 35, Li Ping Liu, 52, and  are being held at the county jail with arraignment on Friday, March 9. A fourth suspect,  Cai-Dong Li, 31, was issued a citation and released.
