June 25, 2018 |

Just as the sun was setting, a pedestrian strolling near Elk Grove's new swimming pool and future civic center was robbed at gunpoint by three unknown suspects.

At 8:30 p.m on Saturday, June 23, the unaccompanied male victim was walking along Big Horn Boulevard near Civic Center Drive when he was approached by a dark colored vehicle. Three men exited the car, and two of them brandished firearms.

The suspects demanded the victim's property, and after he complied, they fled in their car.  All three suspects are described as African American males, 20-30 years old, and tall.

One of the suspects was wearing a red shirt and was armed with a handgun. A second suspect was described as wearing a red and black shirt.

The victim was not hurt during the robbery.
