Today we feature a picture of a well known anti-tax activist in California, John Coupal. This picture was taken in 1999. 

According to Ballotpedia, Coupal is "is an attorney and the president of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association. Coupal was the director of legal affairs for HJTA from 1991 to 1998 before becoming its president."

More recently Coupal has been involved in California's Proposition 6 which seeks to repeal a gasoline and vehicle registration hike signed into law by Gov. Jerry Brown (see video below).
