With the Campfire that has grown to over 20,000-acres with no containment, the Elk Grove Police Department has deployed officers to Butte County. The fire has reportedly destroyed many of the structure in the city of Paradise.
Initially, dispatchers were sent aid followed by several officers who arrived there late last night. The officers will assist with evacuations, traffic control, road closures and protection of life and property.
