One residential burglary suspect apprehended, another sought by Elk Grove Police

Elk Grove Police caught one burglary suspect and are seeking another following a late morning residential burglary.

Just before 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, a witness observed two male suspects flee a residence on the 8900 block of Snapdragon Court on Elk Grove far north side that they allegedly burglarized. Responding police officers were able to locate one of the suspects matching the description a short distance from the dwelling who was found to be in possession of stolen property, but not the accomplice described as a Hispanic from 18 to 20 years of age.

Joseph Rae Jimenz, 19, of Sacramento was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Jail where he faces two felony charges and arraignment on Thursday, December 13. The investigation to locate Jimenez' accomplice is ongoing.
