Suspect on probation arrested by Elk Grove Police on suspicion of violating restrain order, attempted break-in



An Elk Grove probationer was taken into custody after he allegedly violated a restraining order.

Just after 10 p.m. on Friday, May 24, Elk Grove Police responded to a call regarding a man attempted to break-in to his former residence on the 9300 block of Elk Grove-Florin Road. Responding officers located Edward Francisco Ramirez whom they discovered was on probation and had a restraining order preventing his entry into the dwelling.

Ramirez was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Jail. Bail is set at $90,000 and arraignment is on Wednesday, May 29.
