Money stolen at gunpoint after seller arranged online transaction at Elk Grove residence

An Elk Grove man who attempted to sell a phone arranged by an online transaction was robbed at gunpoint.

Just before 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 13 the seller arranged a transaction on the 8600 block of Wheelton in the Coventry neighborhood in north Elk Grove. During the meeting, one of the two suspects brandished a gun and demanded his cash. 

After the victim complied and the phone was stolen, the suspects fled in a dark-colored sedan. The suspects were described as Black males ages 20 - 25.
