Domestic violence suspect brandishes knife, tries hitting victims with vehicle


An Elk Grove man is in custody at the Sacramento County Jail after being arrested on domestic violence charges by Elk Grove Police.
On the evening of Saturday, July 13, Jose M. Flores-Lopez was involved in an argument with with his victim that escalated into a physical confrontation. Flores-Lopez allegedly punched his victim several times resulting in visible injuries.
Following that, Flores-Lopez brandished a knife then left in a vehicle. He returned shortly after and drove his vehicle in the direction of another victim with the alleged intent of hitting them.  
Responding officers located Flores-Lopez later and was arrested. Arraignment is on Tuesday, July 16.
