Two suspects in custody on drug, firearm charges after Elk Grove Police serve search warrant



Two suspects are in custody at the county jail after Elk Grove Police executed a search warrant.

The search warrant was served this morning by detectives with the Street Crimes Unit on the 6000 block of Jefjen Way. During the course of serving the warrant, officers deployed flashbangs which provide a distraction.

The search led to the discovery of a firearm, cocaine, and indicia related to narcotic sales. Three subjects were detained during the search.

Two suspects, Ward Johnson, 30, and Darnell Miller, 27 were arrested. Booking and arraignment information has not been released.
