Suspect arrested after walking away from Elk Grove bank robbery

A man suspected of robbing a bank in Elk Grove was apprehended after police located him walking from the scene.

At approximately 3:39 this afternoon, Elk Grove Police responded to a robbery at the Chase Bank at 7427 Laguna Blvd. The suspect, Anthony Wright, 40, of Sacramento passed a note to a teller demanding money.

After getting a description of Wright, patrol officers located him walking on Laguna Boulevard just west of Laguna Springs Drive. After detaining Wright, he was positively identified as the robbery suspect.
