During the course of a late-night robbery in Elk Grove, a store employee was assaulted by a trio of robbers.
Just before 10 p.m. on Sunday, March 8 three unknown male suspects all described as African-Americans entered the Big Boba Theory shop on the 6600 block of Laguna Boulevard and threatened employees and demanded money. One of the suspects struck an employee.
After striking the employee, their demands were met and a cash register was opened. The money was robbed from the register and the trio fled on foot.
The first suspect was wearing a black hooded
sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes; the second was wearing a
green hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and white shoes; and the third was wearing all black clothing.
