Elk Grove News Podcasts - Darren's Deception

UPDATE

The COVID 19 pandemic has exposed several failures in the American medical delivery system. It has also exposed failures in leadership in all levels of government. Some are very obvious like Donald Trump’s grotesque failures.

Other failures are less obvious, more subtle and not directly related to how the government has reacted to the crisis from the public health aspect. Rather the COVID 19 crisis exposed how some elected officials conduct their business over a span of time.

UPDATED April 7; 2 p.m.

Councilmember Darren Suen has filed an amended 2020 Statement of Economic Interest. The amendment can be viewed here.

EGN needs to back off. Let me mansplain it to you:

Suen has been busy serving as Chair of the Sac Transportation Authority ballot proposal to enact a second County gas tax to pay for the Connector road on Kammerer, because developers are chomping at the bit for it.

All these details you mention in your podcast are petty distractions. Suen has impeccable qualifications according to his Twitter page:

One thing is for certain - we will never see an entry on his statement of economic interests for a fully-paid trip from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum to accept his Profile in Courage Award.
