began my podcasts in a rather unexpected way about five years ago. I had occasionally written opinion pieces and
autobiographical sketches for the Elk Grove News. One evening, Dan Gougherty, the owner and
editor of the Elk Grove News, and I were sitting in a bar enjoying a few Pabst
Blue Ribbons and discussing just about everything but nothing in particular.
