This week saw another school shooting that killed six people, three of them 9-year-olds, in Nashville. Coincidentally, Washington Post had a lengthy and somewhat graphic - not gory - animation of what happens when AR 15 bullets shred a body.

Listen Time 1 Minute

Below is the video of the Washington Post's animation. The Washinton Post's companion story series American Icon referenced in this podcast can be read here.

With the hard core stance that Congress has taken on refusing to pass ANY legislation to ban assault weapons, high capacity magazines, and bunt stocks, I'm afraid it will take a mass shooting at a DC school where these legislator's kids attend and a few of their deaths to move the dial. It's unfortunate and I pray it never happens, but it seems obvious that's what it'll take. Thoughts and prayers are completely hallow and insufficient to the victim's families.

So many citizens want fewer restrictions on gun control. It's so sad for so many victim's families. This new Supreme Court won't help these families either. So much for being "pro life."
