A field representative for Congressman Dr. Ami (D - Calif.), who is also a local elected official, was recently arrested for drunk driving. What did Dr. Bera, a physician who understands the health and safety hazards of drunk driving, have to say about his employee's misbehavior?

Well, we certainly hear from Bera at election time, or when a fast food joint, El Pollo Loco on Elk Grove-Florin Rd. held its grand opening ceremony a few years ago!
I noticed in the press a few days ago that Citrus Heights Vice-Mayor Bret Daniels (R) announced he is going to challenge Bera for his congressional seat in 2024. Maybe Ami is over in Citrus Heights somewhere eating chicken?
As someone who voted for Dr. Bera (when represented Elk Grove) in every election going back to 2010, how disappointing.
The problem with his silence, it that it foments contempt for politicians, who already have integrity problems. By not holding Mr. Robles accountable for his action against public safety, he is condoning drunk driving.
When you have politicians like Dr. Bera who lack integrity, it is no wonder people vote in such low numbers. As said - Shame on you Dr. Bera.
He’s lost my vote.
