Elk Grove News Minute - Anti-LGBTQ+ crusaders, Anita Bryant and Leisure Suits

Unless you are a certain age, you probably never heard of Anita Bryant. A Miss America second runner-up, Bryant was a grade b-singer celebrity and TV commercial spokesperson for Florida Orange Juice. She was also a sparkplug in the 1970s to a bigger movement. 

Special thanks to the late Jimmy Buffet for calling out Ms. Bryant in his 1978 song Mañana.

Gotta agree with your sentiments here. History will not be kind to those of low tolerance towards those fighting the minority. Can't we all just get along? We're all different, but we can still co-exist peacefully, can't we. Discrimination is a bad word.
