During public comment on non-agenda items at tonight's Elk Grove City Council meeting, a resident urged Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen and her councilmen to issue a proclamation condemning California Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis.

Kirk Thompon, a frequent speaker at city council meetings, urged the action after Kounalakis said former president Donald Trump should not appear on the California primary ballot.

In his assessment, Thompson said the Lt. Gov. posed more threat to American democracy than the January 6, 2021 Donald Trump-inspired failed coup d'état. Mr.Thomapson also swiped at Gov. Gavin Newsom when he feigned a faux pas calling him Patrick Bateman, the central character in American Psycho.

Watch Thompson's entire commentary in the video.

Interesting he didn't vote for Trump in 2016 but supported him in 2020. Many Republicans did the exact opposite. Apparently, he liked what he saw over those 4 years. Also he said he wasn't going to vote for Trump in the "primary".
