Oak Rose supportive housing opponents post protest signs on Elk Grove Blvd.

One sign says, "Government dictars[sic] save kids."

As they discussed at a meeting last week, opponents of the Oak Rose supportive housing project have posted signs stating their opposition.

These signs were posted on a residential property on the south side of Elk Grove Boulevard, west of Waterman Road. The Tuesday afternoon rainfall damaged some of the displays.

A special closed-session Elk Grove City Council meeting will convene at 5 p.m. today. If the city council takes action and announces it after the closed session, tomorrow's hearing during the regular city council meeting could be canceled.

Before they conduct their closed session, the public can comment at this afternoon's meeting.
