Indigestible News - Obscure California politician turns down invitation by Pope Francis

Highlighting the universal importance and appreciation of humor, recently Pope Francis convened a meeting of comedians in the Vatican. Among the American comedians invited were Jimmy Fallon, Chris Rock, Conan O’Brien, Steve Colbert, Whoopi Goldberg, and Jim Gaffigan.

Vatican City sources report after the meeting, Pope Francis was in such a jolly mood that he visited YouTube searching for more comedians. And wouldn’t you know it, he stumbled on a laugh track from an obscure California politician. Enthralled, Vatican City promptly invited his politician, but they were too busy to meet the Pontiff.
