Even though 2024 is an off-year cycle for two Elk Grove City Council members, at least one has continued campaign fundraising.
California Form 460 campaign finance disclosure filed by District 2 Councilmember Rob Brewer shows that the first-term representative has kept up on raising campaign cash. Brewer's report for the six months ending June 30 shows that the first-term representative raised $12,100.
Brewer's patrons gave the following amounts for the six-month reporting period, with the cumulative amount per election cycle in parentheses:
- Committee For Home Ownership, Northstate BIA - $500 ($4,000)
- Albiani Land and Livestock - $250 ($698)
- Cement Masons Local 400 - $250 ($500)
- Dalla Dental Ground, dba Ora Dentistry - $2,500 ($3,500)
- Phoenix Enterprises - $500 ($2,000)
- Republic Services - $249 ($749)
- Sheet Metal Workers Local 104 - $500 ($1,445)
- Sacramento Building Trades Council - $1,000 ($2,000)

Brewer repaid himself $35,000 of the $60,000 he loaned his campaign and has $35,141 in debt. The campaign fund has a cash balance of $19,140.
Mr. Brewer is expected to run for reelection to Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen's city council in 2026.
