The Elk Grove City Council held its 16th meeting of 2024. The meeting lasted 90 minutes.

Among the significant topics discussed were issuing more liquor licenses for the Old Town Special Planning Area, an update on the wayfinding sign program for the city's trail system, changing the city's public employee pension policy, and changing the city's purchasing procedures.
