SACOG report documents, this video confirms the rise in Sacramento reckless drivers

Earlier this week, the Sacramento Area Council of Government (SACOG) released a study that confirmed many suspicions about the increase in reckless drivers in the region. That report, which can be viewed here, documented that rates of roadway fatalities and serious injuries in the six-county SACOG area are substantially higher than statewide rates.

Unfortunately, a dashcam video posted on Reddit this week validated the SACOG findings. The video shows a reckless driver on eastbound U.S. 50 near the Howe Avenue exit that caused a horrific accident with multiple serious injuries.
