Elk Grove City Council meeting, December 11, 2024

During the last Elk Grove City Council meeting of the year, one person spoke during
 public comment on non-agenda items about alleged nefarious activities happening in Elk Grove. |   



On Wednesday, December 11, the Elk Grove City Council held its last meeting of 2024.



The highlight of the meeting was the certification of the 2024 Elk Grove City Council elections. Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen, District 1 and 3 City Councilmen Darren Suen and Kevin Spease took their oaths of office.

Singh-Allen was elected to her third two-year term, Suen to his third four-year term, and Spease to his second four-year term.

Also, during the meeting, the city council unanimously dissolved the city's Arts Commission at Singh-Allen's behest. Check back tomorrow for follow-up stories on the meeting and public comments about alleged nefarious activities in Elk Grove.

If the late Mayor Mr. Joe Serna was Mayor Singh-Allen's mentor, why didn't his son, Supervisor Phil Serna administer oath?
