Cosumnes Community Services District Board of Directors holding special meeting on board vacancy

The Cosumnes Community Services District Board of Directors held a special meeting last night or on Wednesday to discuss filling a board vacancy.
The meeting agenda says the directors will meet on either Wednesday, March 17, or Monday, March 17, to decide whether to fill the Division 3 vacancy by appointment or hold a special election. Mr. James Luttell held the Division 3 board position.
The agenda for the meeting says Lutrell resigned at the adjournment of the March 13 special meeting. Today, an email was sent to the CCSD requesting a resignation letter.
As of this posting, the CCSD has not responded to the request. If a response is submitted, this story will be updated.
Luttrell was reappointed to the Division 3 seat for another term in December after being unchallenged in November.
