appeal to the Elk Grove City Council. |

During the public comment period on non-agenda items at the June 25, 2025, Elk Grove City Council meeting, a heartfelt and emotional appeal was made by the mother of a fatal accident victim in Elk Grove.

Speaking to the council was a woman who identified herself as Allison, who said her son was killed while operating his motorcycle on Sheldon Road. Her son, 23-year-old Connor Elliot Lopez, was operating his motorcycle on April 23, 2025, when he was struck by a motorist turning left onto Sheldon Road to enter the WinCo grocery store parking lot.
