Elk Grove Probationer Arrested on Shoplifting, Other Charges

An Elk Grove man who is on probation was arrested for shoplifting and others charges yesterday afternoon.

According to Elk Grove Police, 32-year old Anthony Domingos was observed shoplifting at the Kohl's store on Calvine Road by loss prevention personnel who were able to obtain the license number of the car he fled in. Officers responded to the registered owners address and contacted the suspect.

A records check revealed that Domingos was on probation and a search of his vehicle led to the discovery of narcotics, narcotic paraphernalia, burglary tools and the property stolen from Kohls. The loss prevention officer was transported to suspects location and positively identified him as the person responsible for the theft.

Domingos was arrested then taken to the county jail where he remains in custody.
