Comedy Under The Stars Returns For Summer Season in Elk Grove

June 3, 2016 |

Next Friday night, the Cosumnes Community Services District's popular Comedy Under the Stars series returns for another summer season in Elk Grove.

The comedy performances, which are produced in collaboration with Laughs Unlimited, returns for three special outdoor comedy shows. The first show in the series will headline Ellis Rodriguez on Friday, June 10 at the Laguna Town Hall Amphitheater located at 3020 Renwick Ave.

Ellis Rodriguez is by far the funniest of nine children raised by loving immigrant parents from Panama. Ellis spent his early twenties serving in the U.S. Marines, but found his calling when he picked up a mic and did what he’d been doing his whole life - entertaining anyone who would listen.

Now countless are listening and laughing. His commanding presence, charming personality and hilarious material make him one of the best up and coming comics.

Ellis Rodriguez headlines Comedy Under the Stars on June 10 at Laguna Town Hall. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.

This show is suitable for adults only. No high-back chairs and no pets will be permitted, except for service animals. Seating opens at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. One food truck will have food for purchase.
