Candidates Pull Papers to Run For Elk Grove Mayor, District 3 Seats

According to information from the Elk Grove City Clerk's office, three residents have pulled nomination papers nomination to run for the Office of Mayor and one for the City Council District 3 race.

The three citizens expressing intention to run for the Mayor's office include Michael Monasky, Garrett Smith and Tracie Stafford. They will join three other candidates, Joel Broussard, Elk Grove Vice Mayor Steve Ly and Elk Grove Planning Commissioner Kevin Spease, who have already publicly declared their candidacies.

Entering the District 3 race against Steve Detrick is Vincent C. Neuburger, 

The nomination period ends at 5 p.m on Friday, August 12, 2016.
