Gunshots Fired at Elk Grove Park, Nearby House

Elk Grove Police investigated reports of gunshots heard at an Elk Grove park on the evening of Saturday, November 5.

Shortly before 9 p.m. officers were dispatched to the Elk Grove Regional Park on Elk Grove-Florin Road after receiving reports of gunshots heard in the area. Upon arrival, officers found evidence that a gun had been fired west of the Pavilion area.

Additionally, another person on the 9900 block of Lousada Drive reported finding a bullet hole in their garage door. Police believed the gunshots could be related.   

No victim was found and no suspects seen in the vicinity.
