Unknown Pre-Teen Boy Believed To Be Involved in Elk Grove Armed Robbery

One of two unknown suspects involved in a recent Elk Grove armed robbery is believed to be a pre-teen boy.

The incident occurred on the mid-evening of Friday, December 23, when the victims were walking up to their residence on Amthemis Court on the city's north side when they were approached by the two suspects. The older suspect, who was described as black male juvenile aged 16 -18 brandished a handgun and demanded the victim's property.

After the victims complied with the demands, the two suspects fled on foot and were last seen on Golden Sage Drive. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect but did find the victim's cell phones.

The younger suspect was described as a black male juvenile between 10-13 years old, light complexion, 5' 5" tall, medium build, wearing a gray "puffy" jacket and blue jeans.
