January 17, 2017 |

A Sacramento man is in custody at the Sacramento County Jail after he was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and slashing car tires.

Shortly after 8 a.m. on Saturday, January 14 Jacob Damarea Tanson (pictured above), 23, was reportedly in an argument with a manager inside a fast-food restaurant on the 8600 block of Elk Grove Boulevard. When the manager asked Tanson to leave the premises, he allegedly began throwing items inside the restaurant, pulled out a fixed blade knife, and swung it at the manager several times before exiting.

While outside, Tanson allegedly slashed the tires on two vehicles and broke the rear spoiler of one vehicle. Responding Elk Grove Police officers arrested Tanson and he was booked into the county jail.

Tanson is being held on $60,000 bail and faces two felony and one misdemeanor charge. Arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, January 18.
