A traffic stop by police led to the arrest of two Sacramento men suspected of selling drugs in Elk Grove.

On the morning of Friday, May 12 Elk Grove Police stopped a vehicle on the 9300 block of Nestani Way being driven by Dang Vue, 27, in relation to a theft investigation. A records check revealed Vue, and his passenger, Billee Vang, 26, were both on probation.

A probation search of both men and the vehicle allegedly led to the discovery of an unspecified controlled substance packaged for sale. Both suspects were arrested and booked into the county jail.

Vue is being held on $330,000 bail and is facing eight felony charges while Vang faces five felony charges, but is not eligible for release. Both men are scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday, May 16.
