From the City of Elk Grove | 

The City of Elk Grove will implement temporary traffic controls along streets adjacent to Elk Grove Regional Park on Saturday, June 24 for the 13th annual Elk Grove Run 4 Hunger hosted by Elk Grove Food Bank Services. This event includes Kids run events and 5K and 10K running events starting and finishing inside Elk Grove Regional Park.

Traffic Delays & Detours: A traffic plan has been created and road closures and detours will be in effect from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.

· East Stockton Boulevard will be closed in both directions between Elk Grove-Florin Road and Valley Oak Lane
·  Partial lane closures will be implemented on eastbound Valley Oak Lane and southbound Elk-Grove-Florin Road
·   Westbound Valley Oak Lane and northbound Elk Grove Florin Road will remain open
Alternative Routes: Motorists attempting to travel to destinations north or south should use Waterman Road or West Stockton Boulevard during the closure.
