Man Injured by Three Suspects in Front of His Elk Grove Residence in Evening Assault, Robbery

A man was injured after he was targeted for a robbery in a late evening assault in Elk Grove.

The victim was exiting his vehicle in front of his residence on the 9500 block of Andretti Way in the Laguna neighborhood at approximately 9:30 p.m when he was approached by three unknown male suspects. The trio threw the the victim to the ground in an effort to steal personal property.

While on the ground, the victim was punched, kicked and hit with an unknown resulting in visible injuries. After the attack, the suspects, who were described as black male adults, fled in a dark colored two-door vehicle.
