Elk Grove Police Seek Identity of Walgreens Robbery Suspects

Elk Grove Police are asking for assistance identifying two men suspected of stealing medications from an area pharmacy.

At 12:10 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, the two suspects entered the Walgreens located at 7299 Laguna Boulevard and proceeded to the rear of the store where medications are stored.

The suspects jumped over the counter, confronted the pharmacy employees and stole undisclosed medications. The suspects fled on foot and were last seen heading toward a nearby apartment complex.

Responding officers were on scene within two minutes of the call and established a perimeter. After an extensive search, the suspects were not located.

The first suspect was described as an black male adult, 20’s, 6’1” tall with a thin build wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black/white shoes. The second suspect was described as black male adult, 30’s, 5’11”, with a stocky build (200 lbs.) wearing a blue jacket, black sweat pants and gray shoes.
