Man Pistol-Whipped, Injured in Late Night Home Robbery in Elk Grove

A man was pistol-whipped and sustained injuries after a residence was robbed at gunpoint in Elk Grove.  

According to Elk Grove Police, at approximately 10 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28 the victim and four friends were inside their residence on the 6700 block of Venetian Court when they heard banging on the garage door. When the group went to investigate, they discovered significant damage to the door and were confronted by four unknown males.

At least one of the suspects displayed a handgun and then struck the victim in the head with the weapon resulting in an injury. After the beating, the other victims complied with demands for their personal property. 

The suspects, all described as black adult males wearing black hoodies, were last seen leaving the area in a black four-door sedan. The attack victim was taken to an area hospital for medical treatment.
