Gun Fired After Near Collision in Elk Grove Theater Parking Lot

A near collision led to gunfire in an Elk Grove parking lot.

According to Elk Grove Police, just before midnight on Friday, November 10 the two victims were walking in a parking lot of the Century Laguna 16 theater on the 9300 block of Big Horn Boulevard when a vehicle backed out and came close to striking them. One of the victims and the driver of the vehicle exchanged words.

The driver then reportedly pointed a firearm at the victims and fired one shot. The victims were not hit and police were able to recover physical evidence.

After firing, the suspect and passenger fled in their car which was described as a black newer model Honda. The suspect and passenger were described as Asian male adults between the 17 and 23-years old.
