Elk Grove Police Locate Stolen Vehicle, Two Suspects Arrested

Two suspects are in custody after police recovered a stolen vehicle.

Shortly after midnight on Wednesday, February 28, Elk Grove Police located a vehicle that had been reported stolen near Laguna Boulevard and Laguna Main Street in the Laguna West neighborhood. After stopping the vehicle, officers determined one of the occupants, Omar Davis, 24, of Sacramento was on parole.

The officers also found the suspects were aware the vehicle had been stolen and had been in possession of it for several days. Davis and Teinna Crigler, 24, of Sacramento, were arrested and booked into the county jail.

Davis is held on a bail of $565,000 and is not eligible for release and Crigler has bail set at $20,000. The arraignment of both suspects will be on Friday, March 2.
