Hume, Nguyen report no Elk Grove City Council campaign fundraising activity


Elk Grove City Councilmember Pat Hume has maintained a five-figure campaign fund. |    
In their semi-annual financial reports for the period ending June 30, Elk Grove city councilmembers Pat Hume and Stephanie Nguyen reported no campaign fundraising activities. Those state-mandated reports were filed with the Elk Grove city clerks office. 

Hume and Nguyen who represent districts' 2 and 4 respectively both won their seats last November. Hume, who said this would be his final term is now in his fourth four-year term. Nguyen was appointed to the District 4 vacancy in early 2017 when Steve Ly won his first mayoral term in 2016, won her first four-year term.

Even though Hume had minimal reported expenses, he has over $17,072 in his account. Hume has expressed interest in possibly seeking a seat on the Sacramento Board of Supervisors. 

Nguyen ended the period with $459 after paying expenses of $1,880.
