Suspect arrested by Elk Grove Police, intentionally engaged vehicle collision with domestic violence victim



A Sacramento woman is in custody at the county jail following an alleged domestic violence incident where she engaged in an intentional vehicle collision.

On the late morning of Tuesday, October 8, April Cherre Bezona allegedly threw a bottle at a person she was engaged in an argument with. Although she missed, the victim left the scene in their vehicle.

Bezona followed in another vehicle and intentionally struck her victim's vehicle and fled the scene. Bezona was located later and arrested.

Arraignment will be on Wednesday, October 10. The victim was granted an emergency protective order.
