Around 2 a.m. today, police officers stopped a vehicle near Franklin Boulevard, and Millstone Drive for a code violation. The vehicle being operated by Amanda Lillian Pellerin, 24, was thought to have been involved in catalytic converter thefts.

Police learned Pellerin's passenger, Boon M. Vang, 31 was on probation and had an outstanding arrest warrant. A probation search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a catalytic converter, and pipe cutting tools.

Police learned the catalytic converter had been stolen earlier this morning. Both suspects were arrested and booked into the county jail.

Yang is not eligible for release, and Pellerin is held on a $10,000 bail. Arraignment is on Monday, February 10.
