In a newly released campaign video, Elk Grove City Council District 4 candidate Giezi Bermudez is stressing his ties to the Elk Grove community.

Bermudez, the married father of three children in Elk Grove Unified Schools, stresses his role as the Operations Director at Sacramento-based Asian Resources Inc., a nonprofit providing several community services. The video notes Bermudez has lived in the district for over 10 years and is a "family man for a family community.
Bermudez, who entered the race on the August deadline, is facing Elk Grove Planning Commissioner Sergio Robles. Although he does not have the name recognition or institutional campaign financing resources of Robles, he emphasizes his long association with the community.
Robles, who is single, established residency in District 4 earlier this year. Before that, Robles lived in District 2, where he had filed papers to run for that district but moved once Rod Brewer and Felipe Martin entered the race.
