Brewer gears up Elk Grove City Council District 2 campaign with mailers, video

This year, the Elk Grove City Council will have two new members. These new members will represent Districts 2 and 4.

In the District 2 race, there are three candidates competing to replace outgoing Councilmember, Pat Hume. Among the candidates with the most name recognition is Rod Brewer, who has served three terms as a Director of the Cosumnes Community Services District.

Notwithstanding his name recognition compared to his competitors, Brewer has begun sending mailers to District 2 voters introducing himself. Additionally, Brewer has produced a campaign video.
In one of his initial mailers, Brewer promotes firefighter and police endorsements, and in the video, which has been used primarily on Facebook, his experience is outlined.

Brewer is running against fellow Democrat Felipe Martin and Republican Michelle Kile.
