Another day, another iPod robbery

Juveniles target victim for iPod; this time the attack becomes vicious


Two juveniles were arrested yesterday for the robbery of an iPod yesterday. This is the second robbery in three days where an iPod appears to be the targeted item of robbery.

In yesterday's incident, the victim was attacked as he left a bus stop located near Babson Dr. and Haack Wy. One of the juvenile suspects butted the victim in the head in the commission of the theft.

Elk Grove police officers established a perimeter and located the two suspects hiding in a residential backyards. The two 16 year old boys were arrested for suspicion of robbery, criminal conspiracy and resisting arrest and transported to juvenile hall.

The iPod was recovered and returned to the victim. The victim was medically treated for a laceration to the head.
